Technology is defined by the Oxford dictionary as “The application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes” [1]. Throughout this blog, our team have selected a series of future technologies that we believe best display how we, as a society are gearing up to better optimise our approach to the issues that currently face us, whilst also looking to our past to see how we got to this point. From medicine to entertainment, communication to military, the focus of this blog is a look into how our lives, and the world surrounding them will change in the future, as well as on the great bounds modern scientists, engineers and all-around geniuses are making in this direction.
​Though one of these topics will surely intrigue you more than the others, we as a team implore you to read into every page available here as even we have found these topics to be much more interesting than their big scientific titles would first suggest.
Whilst the intention of this blog is more a base level read into the most exciting new technologies you can expect to see, we really hope that you can learn something, and will have a full list of the sources we used for you to do some deeper reading if one such tech intrigues you. With much of this tech being still developed today, who knows? Maybe you could be the crucial cog in the system that gets this working one day.
